In his Spanish class last week, my son and his classmates were having a "Fiesta" meal. He decided to make tortillas and searched online for a recipe. He made it once to try it out and really liked it. So, for the Fiesta, he made them again. They are delicious!
HERE is the recipe, from "What's Cooking America".
Thanks, Zachary, for finding this great new recipe for us! I look forward to you making them again really soon.....for us! :)

-
We went on a quick trip recently to meet friends in Michigan. My DH
needed to work a day in Nashville, so we drove north from there and made
some fun ...

We've made them for that very same reason - school project and you had to make the dish - not just buy something. Good for the kids to do. Just wondering if Zachary learned how to make them look pretty like the store bought ones?
No, he didn't! He rolled them out the first time and asked me to the second time. I did a few pretty ones, but then got lazy and just rolled them quickly! He thinks the key is a tortilla press, and I agree. I think that's what tortilla companies do, for sure. And Ted's!
